Sprint PCS problems, unauthorized phones being added

My problem with Sprint started back in (I believe it was) 2003… see what happened was that I had 3 lines under my name with the capability of having 5 lines… well I go online to check out the bill because I knew it was almost due… I notice that there were 2 extra lines on there… so I press *2 on my phone (customer service) and they tell me that “I” called in and activated the other 2 lines I had available…

I had told them that I hadn’t done that… they went on to tell me that if I wanted them to be taken off I had to pay the bill plus the disconnect fee… I told them that I would not pay it cause of the fact that I hadn’t activated… well I ended up only paying  my monthly fee’s (for the 3 phones)… but the monthly fee’s of other 2 lines added up so they ended up disconnected all the phones….

Fast forward to 2006 my grandma Eva gives me a call to ask me to help her out with her cell phone problem… I call them and they tell me that she had activated the other 2 lines under her name… see she had only had one phone with Sprint… so the manager that I spoke too tells me that apparently my grandma (83 years old)   had gone in to the store (by the way she doesn’t drive) and had activated the second line in October and the third one in December… so I told the manager that my grandma wouldn’t do that… she doesn’t have a need for the other lines… she went on to tell me that my grandma would   have to go and do a police report… but she didn’t file the police report cause my dad (her son) asked her not too… that he would pay it…

Now last week my Aunt Sophia gives me call to tell me that my other Aunt Linda (Sophia’s sister) got her Sprint phone bill and it was over $1000.00… all because there were 3 lines added to her account & 2 new phones where purchased…

Now I know your probably wondering why I have this beef with Sprint… well you see the thing that I found out was that my sister Erica Elizondo was one person who was adding all these lines… but she wasn’t alone… apparently her friend Joe Garcia who works at Sprint store in Weslaco TX was the one that was allowing her to do so… he gave her my password and allowed her to add the lines under my name… he was also the one that let my sister add the other lines under my grandma’s name… now when I found out his name I gave Mr. Joe Garcia a call and he told me that my sister was the one that did all of this… so he give me my grandma’s password and I tell him that if my sister wants to do anything else on anyone’s account that for him to give me a call…. Oh yeah I told him that if he didn’t that I would make sure that he gets fired and that I would make sure that he would have a hard time finding another job…

Now I didn’t press charges on my sister because my parent’s asked me not too… that they would find a way to pay the entire bill…  Recently I received a letter from Sprint saying my balance is over $2000.00 and that if I don’t pay it I will be taken to court… my grandma didn’t file the police report because my dad asked her not to so he (not my sister who makes $1400.00 a month with no bills to pay and lived at home rent free and not paying any bills) paid the $800.00 bill… now back to my Aunt Linda’s problem apparently “she” went to the Sprint store in McAllen TX and “she” added the 3 lines… funny thing is that when my aunt went down there to see the contract that was signed… her signature was in my sister’s hand writing… and now what I think is funny is that someone actually let my sister sign my aunt’s name… um… hello Sprint that’s identity theft… now that’s the 3rd time that they have allowed my sister to do this… she has a knack of making friendly with the guys at the store so they look up the account and give her the passwords and they let “her” add lines away…

So after all of my problems with my sister and Sprint would I recommend them to anyone… um that’s a no… but if you do happen to get them I would put notes on your account saying that you want any changes/additions or anything to be done in person and you have to show a valid ID….
