Burnout Paradise - PS3 Game Review Update - and Proud Daddy bragging…
Well, it was my birthday 2 days ago and my wonderful wife, Monica got me the PS3 Game Burnout Paradise. I reviewed the Demo before and said 5 out of 5 minivans and I would have to say that is correct, the full version of the game is incredible, way more than I expected, the demo was probably only 5% of the full game, if you have the demo and wonder if the game is worth it, stop reading this and go buy the game, its that good.
The soundtrack is awesome just like hearing hits from the radio, the graphics are amazing, environments, cars, everything is top notch.
And the big news, I am one proud Papa, my daughter Isabel says Daddy Help, and she tries to get the controller from my hand. So I picked her up and let her hold the gas or boost and I was steering she was having a good time laughing and watching the car on the screen, she loves it when the car crashes, it goes into a slow motion view and you can see the car crumple into whatever you crashed into, its pretty cool… I was so proud of our little girl she was watching the screen and figuring out what happens when she pushes the buttons, I think Monica enjoyed watching us play so she snapped a few photos, as far as birthdays goes this one number 28 was a good one for me, its just all that much funner now having a little gamer in the house, I’m sure before long we will be buying games for her to play and she will probably be hogging the PS3.

Fertility Drugs, the stuff they dont tell you at the doctors office.

We’ve been trying to get pregnant for over a year now with no success… I went to the doctor’s office and was put on fertility drugs… I was put on 50mg Clomiphene Citrate and I was told to take them for 5 days starting the 5th day of my cycle… taking them pills really put me threw the ringer… I was super… super emotional… I was really cranky… I was such a basket case I started crying while I was watching “Clifford the big red dog”…
Before I went to the doctor’s and was put on the fertility drugs I did some looking into the types of foods to eat more of and what to stay from and here’s what I found…
We need to eat more protein… so eating meals that include the following:
Poultry
Lean meat
Beans and Lentils
Nut butters (ex. Peanut, almond or cashew butter) and you can even eat seeds and nuts
Plenty of fresh colorful veggies and fruits
A generous portion of whole-grain products
Low-fat dairy products
And Fish (just not everyday due to the mercury)
We also need to eat foods that are rich in folic acid… here are a few of the folate-rich foods:
Lentils
Oatmeal
Pinto and navy beans
Asparagus
Spinach
Orange juice
I knew that I would have to stay from artificial sweeteners… but I also have one heck of a sweet tooth… so I found it was ok for me to eat the following:
Fresh fruit
Fruit smoothies
Frozen fruit
Naturally sweetened, nonfat frozen or regular yogurt
Low-fat, naturally sweetened sorbet
When I was pregnant with Isabel I had gestational diabetes, so I had to be very careful of my carb and sugar intake… so I had to really limit my sweet tooth…
Now you also want to cut down or completely cut out caffeine, now I love my Coke’s and Dr. Peppers so cutting it out was kind of out of the question util I read a study by the National Institute of Health, reading that made me cut out caffeine completely. The study shows that taking 300 milligrams of caffeine a day (now I had to look that up and here’s what I found it 300 milligrams is, its 3 8-oz cups of coffee, seven cups of tea, 23 cups of hot cocoa or in my case five 12-oz cans of cola) decreases the chances of a woman conceiving by as much as 27 percent.
Now this study compared caffeine drinking gals like me to non-caffeine drinking gals. For you coffee drinking lady’s you can drink decaf coffee and tea, filtered water with cucumber slices, now I like crystal light so I found out that was also ok to drink, and you can also drink vegetable juices like tomato or carrot juices.
I have a friend who is a nurse and she told me that before we start trying that I might want to take some pre-natal vitamins, so that way I already have the essential vitamins in my system for when I do get pregnant.
Well we’re still not pregnant, and I’m on another round of the fertility drugs.
I’m hoping that this time it will happen for us, if not then we’ll have one more round of the fertility drugs then I’ll have to go in and have a chat with my doctor and see what else we can do.

Jenny and Bryan Masche of Arizona are proud parents of sextuplets, 6 babies born betwen 8:21 and 8:26 AM today, June 11, 2007. They were the first successful sextuplet delivery in Arizona. Amazingly 10 hours earlier another family in Minneapolis, MN had sextuplets also. This may be a common occurence because of fertility drugs and artificial methods of childbirth.
Congratulations Jenny & Brian from MyFamilyReview.com!
See the babies here
We can’t even imagine having this many children and all at once, we salute you. We had a hard time naming one child good luck naming all 6.
The Masche babies were born at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, all of them weigh between 2 and 3 pounds each. The babies have also been offered scholarhips to Grand Canyon University for the year 2025.
Again congrats to the Masche family, we wish you all the best for your family from ours.
On another note we are going to begin using fertility drugs, but we are not looking to have 6 children. We think twins would be cool maybe triplets but any more than that I may freak out and not know what to do.
